  TERM DATES

ABQ follows MOE guidelines in establishing term dates. The Year is split into two semesters, each culminating in final assessments and reports. Each Semester is broken into two terms. These are not necessarily equal in length, and efforts are made to use official holiday periods (eg. Eid) to provide an appropriate break during the semester. We believe students and teachers perform better when they have regular breaks during the year.

5th September 2011 to 2nd October 2011

Term 2
12th November 2011 to 21st December 2011

Term 3
8th January 2012 to 4th April 2012

Term 4 
14th  April 2012  to 12th June 2012
