  STATE-OF-ART FACILITIES

Azzan Bin Qais International School is a growing school which is developing modern facilities designed to enhance both students learning and meet recreation needs.

Funding is committed to ensure that the facilities develop into standards expected of a truly international school.
The school consists of traditional and functional air conditioned classrooms, three well equipped computer suites and library, three state-of-the-art Science laboratories, two art studio and science laboratories. Central courtyards form the central hub of the school, and a separate KG playground caters for the ‘little people’.

A new swimming pool was opened in early 2011, and the next phase of the school will involve the building of a specialized multi-purpose sports complex.

The library is the central resource provider which facilitates the teaching and learning process and programmes as well as proving for recreational reading. The library houses a rapidly growing collection of items including quality picture books, novels, non-fiction books, academic and textbooks, graded reading schemes, DVD’s and a collection of teacher resources.

Students are able to borrow from both the Arabic and English collection, and most students have the opportunity to visit twice per week during their regular class borrowing times. The library also offers the opportunity for students to  purchase books, games and educational toys through the ‘Red House’ book club. A themed ‘Book Week’ is also hosted every year.
