In the year of his leaving, the school achieved the highest academic results (NCEA) for a state school in New Zealand. In 2006 he moved to establish and run the Aqaba International School in Jordan, and in August 2010 he moved to the position as Principal of Azzan Bin Qais International School in Muscat. She was educated and completed her teaching qualification in Glasgow, Scotland, where she held posts as a teacher and later as Senior Teacher with responsibility for curriculum development in the school.
Before coming to Oman, she undertook a CELTA qualification (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) and greatly enjoyed the experience of working with adults as a contrast to her experience in teaching primary school children. |
